Giovanni Sartori was born in Florence (Italy) in 1924. He graduated in Social Sciences at Florence University in 1946. He has lectured in Modern Philosophy and Logic at the U.S. universities of Stanford, Yale and Harvard, as well as at Florence´s European University Institute.
