Updated -General programme for the visit of Their Majesties the King and Queen of Spain on the occasion of the 2018 Princess Of Asturias Awards Ceremony

THURSDAY, 18th OCTOBER

  • 5:00pm Her Majesty the Queen will attend Martin Scorsese's meeting with young filmmakers, which is part of the "Scorsese Factory" programme in the old La Vega Arms Factory in Oviedo.
  • 5:30pm His Majesty the King will hold an audience with the Foundation's board for Biosanitary Research and Innovation in the Principality of Asturias (FINBA) in the "Salon de Consejos" in the Reconquista Hotel, Oviedo.
  • 7.30pm TM The King and Queen will preside over the 27th Princess of Asturias Awards Concert, organized by the Princess of Asturias Foundation in collaboration with the Cajastur Liberbank Foundation. The Princess of Asturias Foundation Choir will perform Stabat Mater by Gioaccino Rossini alongside the Principality of Asturias Symphony Orchestra (OSPA) under the baton of Rossen Milanov and with the participation of soloists Beatriz Díaz (soprano), María José Montiel (mezzo-soprano), Xabier Anduaga (tenor) and José Antonio López (baritone).

FRIDAY, 19th OCTOBER

    11:40am Patrons of Princess of Asturias Foundation.
