The Princess of Asturias Foundation presents its official account on Instagram

The institution is also present on other social networks such as Twitter, Facebook and YouTube.

The Princess of Asturias Foundation has created an official Instagram account (www.instagram.com/fundacionprincesadeasturias) to be in contact with the users of this social network, who now exceed three hundred million worldwide.

Through this new social profile, which will enable the Foundation to share images rapidly with people all around the world, users will be able to access different multimedia contents, some of them unpublished and exclusively available on the Instagram account.

Via this communication tool, the Foundation opens up a new channel for exchanging information and knowledge with its followers. Besides unpublished photographs from the institution’s archives, the channel will also disseminate photos of moments which thus far have not been viewable, such as the preparations for the different events or the day-to-day work of the institution.

Also present on other social networks

The Foundation’s new public profile adds to those already existing on other social networks, such as Twitter (www.twitter.com/fpa), which has over 10,500 followers and via which the manuscript of the first speech by King Felipe VI, delivered at the 1981 Prince of Asturias Awards Ceremony, was made available to the public. The institution also has a public profile on Facebook (www.facebook.com/fpa), which has already received 10,200 “likes”, and another on YouTube (www.youtube.com/fpamultimedia), boasting more than 5,100 hours of viewings last year.
