“Europe hails Christmas: The Messiah” concert
As is now traditional, the Prince of Asturias Foundation Choir performed Handel’s “Messiah” at Oviedo Cathedral alongside the Principality of Asturias Symphonic Orchestra.
The European Parliament praised the Choir in 2007 for “their outstanding contribution to bolster European integration”.

T.R.H. The Prince and Princess of Asturias presided over the Closing Concert
