The Prince of Asturias Foundation
The appointment of Teresa Sanjurjo to succeed Graciano García as Director of the Foundation was approved today by the Prince of Asturias Foundation’s Board of Trustees.
Teresa Sanjurjo González has been appointed Director of the Prince of Asturias Foundation at the meeting held by the Prince of Asturias Foundation’s Board of Trustees yesterday in Oviedo.
The Board of Trustees also agreed that Graciano García, who has been up until now Director of the Foundation and its founder, should continue being linked to the Foundation by appointing him Director Emeritus for life.
During the meeting, the President of the Foundation, Matías Rodríguez Inciarte, emphasized the “exemplariness” of the transition as well as the “commendable work and career” of Graciano García as Director of the Foundation, something the Board of Trustees also stressed during the meeting. When the meeting ended, the President welcomed the new Director and highlighted her “personal and professional qualities” to carry out her job duties.
