According to Article 3 of the Regulations governing the Princess of Asturias Awards, nominations may be submitted by:

  1. Laureates from previous years.
  2. Members of the eight Juries, provided they do not submit nominations for the award in the category corresponding to the jury of which they are a member.
  3. Spanish embassies.
  4. Diplomatic representations in Spain.
  5. Public figures and institutions of renown.
  6. Other public figures and institutions invited to do so by the Princess of Asturias Foundation.

We remind you that user account authentication is the responsibility of the person applying for said account. The Princess of Asturias Foundation assumes no responsibility whatsoever for its use by third parties.

Informed Consent Clause in compliance with Article 13 of the General Regulations regarding Data Protection (RGPD).
Data Controller: Princess of Asturias Foundation
Purpose: to process the nominations with the merits put forward by their sponsors and the promoters of the candidatures.
Legitimation: the carrying out of the Foundation’s activities in compliance with the purposes set out in its Statutes and the interested party’s consent.
Recipients: social media and the Foundation’s publications and website.
Rights: to access, rectify and delete the data, as well as other rights as indicated in the following additional information.

    2. How long do we keep your data? In principle, it will be kept indefinitely for the purposes of historical archiving, unless you request it be deleted.

    1. What is the legitimation for conserving your data? The Princess of Asturias Foundation’s own interest in compliance with the purposes set out in its Statutes, where the granting and presentation of the Princess of Asturias Awards takes on special, fundamental importance.
    2. To which recipients will your information be communicated?Social media and the Foundation’s publications and website.
  4. Rights
    1. What are your rights when you provide us with your data?
      1. Any person has the right to obtain confirmation as to whether their data is processed by the Princess of Asturias Foundation.
      2. Those concerned have the right to access their personal data, as well as to request the rectification of inaccurate data or, where appropriate, request its deletion when, among other reasons, the data is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected.
      3. You can exercise your rights by contacting the Princess of Asturias Foundation, either by post, enclosing a photocopy of your ID to the aforementioned address or by email, signed with a digital certificate, to the following address: info@fpa.es.
      4. If you consider that your rights have not been respected, you may contact the Spanish Agency for Data Protection, www.agpd.es, as an Independent Data Control Authority regarding the protection of personal data.
