A meeting with the primary school children who have participated in “The Secret Life of Microbes”, an activity forming part of the “Taking the Floor” cultural programme for schools in the Principality of Asturias aimed at making better known to the public the contributions to the knowledge of the human microbiota (the set of microorganisms that live in our body) and their essential role in health, in whose study Jeffrey Gordon has been a pioneer, and the communication mechanisms between bacteria, revealed by Peter Greenberg and Bonnie L. Bassler. The pupils have interpreted the information on these topics, adapted for them in an educational support, through illustrative drawings.
