2025 Princess of Asturias Laureate for Communication and Humanities Byung-Chul Han owns two flügels (grand pianos), which he compares to two wings with which he elevates his philosophical reflections. This is how he describes it in an analogy included in his book The Tonality of Thought. With that in mind, pianists Marta Espinós and Isabel Dombriz will perform a repertoire of pieces that Han himself mentions as inspiring his thinking and work. Musician, writer, actress and member of the 2025 Princess of Asturias Award for the Arts Jury Christina Rosenvinge will be responsible for interweaving these pieces with texts by the Laureate himself and poems highlighted by the philosopher as being important in his career.
Participants: Pianists Marta Espinós and Isabel Dombriz.
