Opening "Habsburgs and Bourbons: Princes and Princesses of Asturias and Monarchs of Spain"

Date and time: Wednesday, 16 October 2019. 07:00PM h.

Place: Fine Arts Museum of Asturias (Calle de Santa Ana, 1, Oviedo)

The exhibition will be open to the public from 14th October to 15th December. Admission strictly by invitation only.

This exhibition includes a selection of works from the Prado Museum and the Fine Arts Museum of Asturias, including Prince Balthasar Carlos of Spain from Diego Velázquez’s workshop, The Prince of Asturias (future Carlos IV) by Anton Raphael Mengs and the Portrait of Carlos II as Prince of Asturias by Juan Carreño Miranda. The opening will be attended by Miguel Falomir, Director of the Prado Museum, and Alfonso Palacio, Director of the Fine Arts Museum of Asturias.
