Taking the Floor. “Feed Humanity. Asturias Central Kitchen”. José Andrés and World Central Kitchen

Admission by invitation only.
A meeting with vocational training students from the area of Hospitality and Tourism related to Cooking, Restaurants and Gastronomy who have participated in the activity aimed at learning about the work of José Andrés and the World Central Kitchen (WCK) within the “Taking the Floor” educational programme for schools. The students carried out the following food emergency simulation exercise: putting themselves in an imaginary situation of major flooding within the area of their school, they prepared a plan to organize an emergency kitchen to feed 4,500 people in one day.
