Taking the Floor. “GenerAction”. Steinem Space

Admission by invitation only.
Gloria Steinem will visit an exhibition of projects by 3rd- and 4th-year secondary school and pre-university students who have participated in the section devoted to the Laureate within the "Taking the Floor" educational programme for schools. She will later hold a meeting with the students, chaired by Alejandra Moreno Álvarez, who lectures in English at the University of Oviedo. A representation of pupils will attend the event in person while the rest of the participating schools will connect via video call. The activity proposed to the students consisted in preparing the first issue of a publication on feminism and civil rights, including an article with examples of progress in equal rights and another on the challenges of feminism in this century.
