ORGANIZATION AND IMPACT Candidaturas 253 candidaturas procedentes de 58 países se presentaron a los jurados para su estudio, tras el análisis de la documentación aportada. 45 de esas candidaturas fueron propuestas por 29 de nuestros galardonados. Un 54,54% proponían a hombres y un 23,71%, a mujeres; un 19,35% se referían a instituciones y el 2,37% restante, a candidaturas mixtas. Se recibieron más de 6.500 cartas, mensajes y firmas de apoyo de personalidades e instituciones de todo el mundo, destacando las procedentes de varios premios nobel y de un amplio número de galardonados, además de embajadores, académicos, rectores, presidentes y decanos de universidades de todo el mundo, colegios oficiales y fundaciones, entre otros. Candidatures In all, 253 nominations from 58 countries were submitted to the Juries for study, once the documentation provided had been analysed. Of these nominations, 45 were submitted by 29 of our Laureates. 54.54% proposed men and 23.71%, women; 19.35% referred to institutions, while the remaining 2.37% referred to mixed candidatures. More than 6,500 letters, messages and signatures of support were received from public figures and institutions from around the world, with those from several Nobel Laureates and a large number of our own Laureates being worthy of mention, in addition to those from ambassadors, academics, rectors, presidents and deans of universities worldwide, official associations and foundations, among others.
