ORGANIZATION AND IMPACT Proyectos con la comunidad educativa Projects carried out with schools La accesibilidad es una condición necesaria para la participación social de las personas con limitaciones funcionales e intelectuales y es garantía de un mejor diseño para todos. Para contribuir al desarrollo de una sociedad inclusiva, la Fundación ha acometido un año más actuaciones orientadas a facilitar la accesibilidad, tanto en las comunicaciones como en el desarrollo de los eventos y en los edificios que los acogen. La Fundación participó por cuarto año consecutivo en el programa “Incorpora” de la Obra Social “la Caixa”, cuyo objetivo es la integración laboral de colectivos en riesgo de exclusión social. Accessibility is a necessary condition for the social participation of people with functional and intellectual limitations and ensures better Design for All. To contribute to the development of an inclusive society, the Foundation has once more undertaken actions aimed at facilitating accessibility, both during the events it holds and to the buildings that host them, as well as in terms of communications. For the fourth consecutive year, the Foundation participated in the la Caixa Bank Charity Fund’s Incorpora programme, which seeks to integrate groups in danger of social exclusion into the job market. Visitas a centros educativos Por cuarto año consecutivo, la Fundación realizó visitas a los centros educativos del Principado con el objetivo de difundir entre los estudiantes la labor de la institución y sus Premios. En 2018, este programa amplió su ámbito de acción a todo el arco escolar, desde Infantil hasta Formación Profesional. La actividad concluyó con un total de 18 visitas y 35 conferencias, y una audiencia aproximada de 1.500 alumnos. Visits to schools For the fourth year running, the Foundation visited schools throughout the Principality to inform pupils about the institution’s work and its Awards. In 2018, this programme expanded its scope of action to the entire range of educational institutions, from infant schools through to vocational training centres.
