47 Fundación Princesa de Asturias MEMORIA 2019 PREMIOS PRINCESA DE ASTURIAS. ORGANIZACIÓN E IMPACTO www.fpa.es Convocatoria Una vez convocada la trigésimo novena edición de los Premios Princesa de Asturias por S.M. el Rey en octubre de 2018, tras la ceremonia de entrega de estos galardones, la Fundación inició el proceso de envío de la documentación para la presentación de candidaturas. Fueron distribuidos más de 2800 ejemplares del Reglamento de los Premios, editado en cinco idiomas, y las invitaciones electrónicas para presentar candidaturas superaron el millar. Por sexto año consecutivo más de un centenar de personalidades de universidades, medios de comunicación e instituciones de prestigio internacional recibieron una carpeta especial con material adicional sobre la institución y sus Premios. Reuniones de los jurados Los jurados encargados de conceder los Premios Princesa de Asturias 2019, integrados por 146 expertos, celebraron sus reuniones en Oviedo durante los meses de abril, mayo y junio. Estuvieron integrados por especialistas en los respectivos ámbitos de cada uno de los galardones, a excepción del de Concordia, constituido por miembros de los Patronatos de la Fundación. Ver Anexo con miembros de los jurados en la página 94 Jury meetings Made up of 146 experts, the Juries for the 2019 Princess of Asturias Awards held their meetings in Oviedo during the months of April, May and June. They comprised specialists in the respective fields of each of the Awards, except for the Jury for the Award for Concord, made up of members of the Boards of Trustees of the Foundation. See the Appendix listing the members of the Juries on page 94 Call for Nominations Once the Call for the thirty-ninth edition of the Princess of Asturias Awards was announced by HM The King in October 2018 following the closure of the Awards Ceremony, the Foundation began the process of sending out documentation for the submission of nominations. More than 2800 copies of the Regulations governing the Awards, published in five languages, were distributed and more than a thousand email invitations to submit nominations were also sent out. For the sixth consecutive year, more than a hundred public figures from universities, the media and internationally renowned institutions received a special dossier containing additional material on the institution and its Awards.
