ORGANIZATION AND IMPACT Candidaturas 251 candidaturas procedentes de 53 países se presentaron a los jurados para su estudio, tras el análisis de la documentación recibida. 35 de esas candidaturas fueron propuestas por 30 de nuestros anteriores galardonados. Un 58.65% de los candidatos eran hombres, un 21.43% mujeres y un 19.92% instituciones. Se registraron más de 3900 escritos de apoyo, entre cartas, correos electrónicos y firmas de personalidades e instituciones de todo el mundo, destacando las procedentes de varios premios Nobel y un amplio número de nuestros anteriores galardonados, además de embajadores, académicos, rectores, presidentes y decanos de universidades de todo el mundo, colegios oficiales y fundaciones, entre otros. Candidatures In all, 251 nominations from 53 countries were submitted to the Juries for study, once the documentation provided had been analysed. Of these nominations, 35 were submitted by 30 of our previous Laureates. 58.65% of the candidates were men, 21.43% were women and 19.92% were institutions. More than 3900 letters, messages and signatures of support were received from public figures and institutions from around the world, with those from several Nobel Laureates and a large number of our own Laureates being worthy of mention, in addition to those from ambassadors, academics, rectors, presidents and deans of universities worldwide, official associations and foundations, among others.
