ORGANIZACIÓN E IMPACTO www.fpa.es Visitas a centros educativos Por sexto año consecutivo, la Fundación reanudó, hasta su suspensión temporal por la alerta sanitaria, el programa de visitas a centros educativos del Principado de Asturias con el propósito de difundir entre los estudiantes la labor de la institución. El ámbito de acción abarcó cursos de Infantil, ESO, Bachillerato y Formación Profesional. La actividad concluyó con un total de 15 visitas, 26 presentaciones y una audiencia de 1399 alumnos. Visits to schools For the sixth year running, the Foundation once again implemented a programme of school visits throughout the Principality of Asturias to inform pupils about the institution’s work and its Awards, which was subsequently put on hold due to the health alert. The scope of action covered infant, secondary, pre-university and vocational training courses. The activity concluded with a total of 15 visits and 26 talks, reaching an overall audience of 1399 students. Compensación de la huella de carbono Nuestra institución reafirma el compromiso adquirido en 2011 para reducir su impacto medioambiental, con el objetivo de compensar la huella de carbono producida como consecuencia de sus actividades, y trabaja en el seguimiento y aplicación a su propia estrategia de los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible (ODS) fijados por la ONU para el año 2030. Medioambiente y sostenibilidad The environment and sustainability Offsetting the Carbon Footprint Our institution reaffirms the commitment acquired in 2011 to reduce its environmental impact, with the aim of off-setting the carbon footprint produced as a result of its activities. It is also working on the monitoring of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) established by the UN for the year 2030 and their application to its own strategy in this regard.
