ORGANIZACIÓN E IMPACTO www.fpa.es Otras actividades Other activities Congreso: «Reimaginar el futuro a través del arte y la cultura: nuevas narrativas, cambio social y medioambiente» La Fundación Princesa de Asturias, junto con la asociación de sociedades e instituciones filantrópicas europeas Philea, organizó el encuentro «Reimaginar el futuro a través del arte y la cultura», en el que organizaciones y profesionales de la cultura se reunieron en Oviedo para reflexionar sobre el papel de las fundaciones en el cambio social. Las jornadas tuvieron como ejes temáticos la aportación de la fabricación digital a la economía circular, la innovación en los diseños tecnológicos, la exploración de nuevos formatos y la relación entre las experiencias artísticas y la inclusión social. También se desarrollaron algunas actividades prácticas que abordaron la monitorización de las plantas para analizar su entorno medioambiental o el uso potencial de materiales reciclados para crear nuevos instrumentos musicales. En el encuentro participaron cerca de noventa profesionales del sector a través de talleres, charlas y mesas redondas que tuvieron lugar los días 19 y 20 de octubre en la Fábrica de Armas de La Vega, en Oviedo, y en el Centro Niemeyer, en Avilés, respectivamente. Las jornadas fueron clausuradas por María Pagés con su espectáculo Paraíso de los negros . Congress: “Reimagine the Future Through Arts and Culture: Bold storytelling, social change and the environment” The Princess of Asturias Foundation jointly organized the meeting “Reimagine the Future Through Arts and Culture” together with the association of European philanthropic societies and institutions Philea, in which cultural organizations and professionals met in Oviedo to reflect on the role of foundations in social change. The central themes of the meeting were the contribution of digital manufacturing (Fab Labs) to the circular economy, innovation in technological designs, the exploration of new formats, and the relationship between artistic experiences and social inclusion. Some practical activities also took place that dealt with the monitoring of plants to analyse their surrounding environment and the potential use of recycled materials to create new musical instruments. Nearly ninety professionals from the sector participated in the meeting through workshops, talks and round tables that were held on 19th and 20th October at the La Vega Arms Factory, Oviedo, and at the Niemeyer Centre, Avilés, respectively.
