Drucker (Montreal, Canadá, 1956) se licenció en Medicina por la Universidad de Toronto, de la que es catedrático, y realizó su interinidad médica en el Hospital Johns Hopkins de Baltimore. Becado para trabajar en el Hospital General de Massachusetts, se incorporó después al Hospital General de Toronto. Es investigador sénior en el Instituto de Investigación Lunenfeld-Tanenbaum del Hospital Monte Sinaí. He pursued a postgraduate fellowship at Cornell University Medical College and subsequently earned a PhD from Rockefeller University. His professional career has been linked to the Howard Hughes Institute at this same university, where he holds the Marilyn M. Simpson Professorship. According to Scopus, he has published 238 scientific articles, has been cited 59 201 times and has an h -index of 90.
