ORGANIZATION AND IMPACT Diversidad e inclusión Diversity and inclusion La accesibilidad es una condición necesaria para la participación social de las personas con limitaciones funcionales e intelectuales. Para contribuir al desarrollo de una sociedad inclusiva, la Fundación acomete actuaciones orientadas a facilitar la accesibilidad, tanto en las comunicaciones como en el desarrollo de los actos y en los edificios que los acogen. La Fundación colaboró por cuarto año consecutivo con Down Principado de Asturias en el marco del Programa de Empleo con Apoyo, que tiene como objetivo la integración laboral de personas con síndrome de Down y discapacidad intelectual. Siete personas adscritas a este programa se incorporaron, durante la Semana de los Premios, al equipo de auxiliares de la Fundación. Accessibility is a necessary condition for the social participation of people with functional and intellectual limitations and ensures better design for all. To contribute to the development of an inclusive society, the Foundation undertakes actions aimed at facilitating accessibility, both during the events it holds and to the buildings that host them, as well as in terms of communications. The Foundation collaborated for the fourth year running with Down Principado de Asturias within the framework of the Supported Employment Programme, aimed at integrating people with Down Syndrome or intellectual disabilities into the workforce. Seven persons assigned to this programme joined the Foundation’s team of assistants during Awards Week.
