68 Princess of Asturias Foundation ANNUAL REPORT 2025 EXEMPLARY TOWN OF ASTURIAS AWARD Actos folclóricos Folk events Más de ochocientas personas, integrantes de veintidós bandas de gaitas y doce grupos de baile procedentes de dieciséis concejos asturianos participaron en los actos celebrados con motivo de la entrega de los Premios Princesa de Asturias. Las agrupaciones folclóricas arroparon a los galardonados durante la jornada del viernes en su recorrido desde el Hotel de la Reconquista al Teatro Campoamor. La Real Banda de Gaitas Ciudad de Oviedo y la banda de gaitas Vetusta intervinieron en la ceremonia de entrega de los Premios Princesa de Asturias. Además, la banda de gaitas El Gumial de Aller y el Grupo de Baile San Félix de Valdeosto actuaron en el acto de entrega del Premio al Pueblo Ejemplar de Asturias. In all, eight hundred people belonging to twenty-two pipe bands and twelve dance groups from sixteen Asturian boroughs participated in the events held to mark the Princess of Asturias Awards Ceremony. The folk groups lined the route as the Laureates were taken to the Campoamor Theatre in a motorcade from the Reconquista Hotel. The Royal City of Oviedo Pipe Band and the Vetusta Pipe Band performed at the Princess of Asturias Awards Ceremony. In addition, the El Gumial de Aller Pipe Band and the San Félix de Valdeosto Dance Group performed at the ceremony for the Exemplary Town of Asturias Award.
