The meeting reviews some reflections and data based on his work: Longitudinal Research on the Second Generation (Spanish acronym, ILSEG), which presents Spain as a success story in matters of immigration and the sense of belonging. Alejandro Portes visits the show by members of the Professional Association of Asturian Photojournalists (APFA). The exhibition, composed of a dozen portraits by professional Asturian photojournalists, aims to evoke and honour the work of Portes through photographs of families from all over Asturias which include, among their members, forbears from other countries or cultures and children who were born and are fully integrated in the region. ©FPA | Iván Martínez
