Pero hay una diferencia entre deber y poder, así que me convertí en científica y exploradora. [Es preciso] invitar a los ciudadanos a hacer preguntas difíciles sobre cómo debemos convivir. En un momento en que la democracia se enfrenta a tiempos oscuros, hacer estas preguntas es nuestra mayor esperanza para arreglar el mundo en el que vivimos. Some told me that as a woman, I should not aspire to be a scientist or explorer, but there is a difference between should not and could not, so I became a scientist and explorer anyway. [It is a matter of] inviting citizens to ask hard questions about how we should live together.
