SEMANA DE LOS PREMIOS AWARDS WEEK PREMIOS PRINCESA DE ASTURIAS | PRINCESS OF ASTURIAS AWARDS Since 1996, the Foundation has been designing and organizing cultural activities in various Asturian towns and villages aimed at making the recipients of its Awards and their contributions to the world of science, culture or any other field in which they carry out their work better known to society at large. In 2022, the programme for Awards Week included 67 activities, which were held between 20th and 29th October and brought together 23555 people in all. The La Vega Arms Factory in Oviedo served as the unifying element of this cultural offering that included concerts, art installations, stage shows, film, meetings with the public, working breakfasts, round tables, exhibitions and workshops. This series of events counted on the institutional support of the Spanish Ministry of Defence, the Regional Ministry of Culture, Language Policies and Tourism of the Principality of Asturias, the Principality of Asturias Regional Parliament, Oviedo, Gijón and Avilés Municipal Councils, the University of Oviedo and the Cajastur Foundation. La Fundación diseña y organiza desde 1996 con motivo de la entrega de sus Premios, actividades culturales en diversas localidades asturianas para acercar a la sociedad la figura de los galardonados y sus contribuciones al mundo de la ciencia, la cultura o cualquier otro ámbito en el que desarrollen su trabajo. En 2022, el programa de la Semana de los Premios comprendió 67 actividades que se desarrollaron entre los días 20 y 29 de octubre y congregaron a 23555 personas. La Fábrica de Armas de La Vega, en Oviedo, ejerció de elemento aglutinador de esta propuesta que incluyó conciertos, instalaciones artísticas, espectáculos escénicos, cine, encuentros con el público, desayunos de trabajo, mesas redondas, exposiciones y talleres. Este ciclo de actos contó con la colaboración institucional del Ministerio de Defensa, la Consejería de Cultura, Política Llingüística y Turismo del Principado de Asturias, la Junta General del Principado de Asturias, los ayuntamientos de Oviedo, Gijón y Avilés, la Universidad de Oviedo y la Fundación Cajastur.
