El patrimonio neto de la Fundación alcanzó, a fecha
31 de diciembre de 2012, la cantidad de 30 millones
de euros. Los ingresos de la Fundación proceden de
subvenciones públicas, de donaciones de diferentes
personalidades e instituciones, integrantes de sus
Patronatos y de los Miembros Protectores, y de los
rendimientos de su patrimonio.
El coste total de las actividades de la Fundación
Príncipe de Asturias ascendió en 2012 a 5,48
millones de euros.
Del presupuesto de la Fundación, el 69% estuvo
destinado a la convocatoria, concesión y entrega
de los Premios Príncipe de Asturias. El 31% restante
se dedicó a otras acciones, fundamentalmente de
carácter musical, al Premio al Pueblo Ejemplar de
Asturias y a otro tipo de actividades de carácter no
recurrente.

assets amounted to the sum of 30 million euros.
The Foundation’s income comes from public grants,
donations by different individuals and institutions
that form part of its Boards of Trustees and its
Patrons, and revenue from its assets.
The cost of the activities of the Prince of Asturias
Foundation reached the sum of 5,48 million euros
in 2012.
Of the Foundation’s total budget expenditure,
69% went to the call for nominations, granting and
presenting of the Prince of Asturias Awards. The
remaining 31% went to other types of activities,
primarily musical in nature, to the Exemplary Town
of Asturias Award and to other non-recurring
activities.
