SEMANA DE LOS PREMIOS AWARDS WEEK PREMIOS PRINCESA DE ASTURIAS | PRINCESS OF ASTURIAS AWARDS On the occasion of the 40th edition of its Awards, the Foundation organized a cultural programme that offered the public 83 activities adapted to the health conditions resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic in terms of formats –combining in-person and online events– and a reduction in the number of attendees at any given event. Conceived with the aim of making the figures and work of the Laureates better known to society at large, Awards Week brought together a total audience of 20 609 spectators, 15 712 of whom took part online while 4 897 participated in person at the events held at the former La Vega Arms Factory, in Oviedo. Fitted out for 10 days as la FPAbrica –a space devoted to the work of the Laureates– it hosted art installations, concerts, poetry recitals, talks, round tables, online gaming and a drive-in movie theatre. In addition, Gijón presented the photography exhibition “Beyond the Vocation. Portraits of a Pandemic”, dedicated to the health workers bestowed with the 2020 Princess of Asturias Award for Concord. La Fundación organizó, con motivo de la XL edición de sus galardones, una programación cultural que brindó al público 83 actividades adaptadas a las condiciones sanitarias derivadas de la COVID-19 en cuanto a formatos, combinando el presencial y el virtual, y a reducción de aforos. Concebida para acercar a la sociedad la figura y obra de los galardonados, la Semana de los Premios congregó a un total de 20 609 espectadores, de los cuales 15 712 representaron la audiencia digital y 4897 participaron presencialmente en los actos desarrollados en la antigua Fábrica de Armas de La Vega, en Oviedo. Habilitada durante diez días como la FPAbrica —un espacio dedicado a la obra de los premiados—, albergó instalaciones artísticas, conciertos, recitales poéticos, conferencias, mesas redondas, juegos virtuales y un autocine. Además, Gijón acogió la exposición fotográfica «Más allá de la vocación. Retratos de una pandemia», dedicada a los sanitarios galardonados con el Premio Princesa de Asturias de la Concordia.
