MM. los Reyes y SS. AA. RR. la Princesa de Asturias y la Infanta Doña Sofía visitaron, la víspera de la entrega de los galardones, la antigua Fábrica de Armas de La Vega. La Familia Real recorrió las instalaciones permanentes, desde los coches de carreras de Carlos Sainz hasta las adaptaciones escultóricas de poemas de Anne Carson, con tiempo para la reflexión en el espacio interactivo La biblioteca líquida , un homenaje a la Feria Internacional del Libro de Guadalajara y al Hay Festival of Literature & Arts; contemplaron la versión digital de la exposición «Más allá de la vocación. Retratos de una pandemia» y la pieza audiovisual Morricone’s Suite . Además, presenciaron la emisión en directo del acto virtual «Las matemáticas invisibles», con la intervención de los galardonados en Investigación Científica y Técnica, y mantuvieron un encuentro con artistas que colaboraron en la Semana de los Premios. Como muestra, la agrupación para cuarteto y piano Enol Ensemble interpretó el tema principal de La guerra de las galaxias de John Williams y Cinema Paradiso de Ennio Morricone, en formato de cámara. Visit to la FPABRICA by the Royal Family On the eve of the presentation of the Awards, TM The King and Queen and TRH The Princess of Asturias and Infanta Sofía of Spain visited the former La Vega Arms Factory. The Royal Family toured the permanent installations, ranging from Carlos Sainz’s rally cars to the sculptural adaptations of poems by Anne Carsson, with time for reflection in the “Liquid Library” interactive space, a tribute to the Guadalajara International Book Fair (FIL, for its name in Spanish) and the Hay Festival of Literature & Arts. They also viewed the digital version from the exhibition entitled “Beyond the Vocation. Portraits of a Pandemic” and the audiovisual piece entitled “Morricone’s Suite”. Furthermore, they watched the live broadcast of the “Invisible Mathematics” online event figuring the Laureates for Technical and Scientific Research and met with artists who contributed to Awards Week. As an example of such contribution, the Enol Ensemble piano and string quartet performed chamber versions of John Williams’ Star Wars Main Theme and Ennio Morricone’s Cinema Paradiso .
