Taking the Floor: “Embraced by Sport”, with the Olympic Refuge Foundation and Refugee Olympic Team Representatives of the Foundation and athletes from the Refugee Olympic Team meet with secondary students who participated in the “Taking the Floor” cultural programme activity for schools. The proposal included two tasks with the aim of making the harsh reality of refugees more visible. Under the heading “My Story”, students were asked to prepare a storyboard based on the life and professional career of one of the scholarship athletes opting to be selected for the team for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. As part of the activity called “My Suitcase”, participants were invited to pack the symbolic luggage of a chosen athlete for the trip that he or she will undertake from their host country to Paris. ©FPA | Yeray Menéndez
