He was conferred the Award in 2010 for “his audacity in structuring –from his minimalist perspective– the most significant spaces at an international scale through works of great visual power that are an invitation to reflection and wonder”

The deadline for submitting nominations closed yesterday, Thursday, 7th March
An audiovisual piece on artistic creation, inspired by Carmen Linares and María Pagés, joint Princess of Asturias Laureates for the Arts in 2022.
The screening, which will take place on 8th March at the Teatro Echegaray, will be attended by both artists.
The Foundation has started to send out the Regulations governing the Awards
Nominations can now be submitted via the Foundation’s website
The presence of visual media will be limited at the events featuring Haruki Murakami and Meryl Streep
