Quiero compartir este honor con las
mujeres activistas de todo el mundo,
y en especial con las de la República
Democrática del Congo que, día y
noche, luchan para defender los
derechos humanos, con el exclusivo
fin de establecer la justicia.
I also wish to share this honour with female
activists worldwide and especially with
those of the Democratic Republic of the
Congo who fight day and night to defend
human rights, with the sole aim
of achieving justice.
Peace excludes resignation of any kind
in the face of injustice. To the contrary,
it supposes a relentless struggle to root
out the causes of conflict; to struggle
for justice, freedom and truth. It means
attempting to restore order, an order that
has been violated and has become an
instigator of discord.

La paz excluye toda resignación ante la
injusticia. Supone, al contrario, una lucha
de todos los instantes para desarraigar las
causas de conflicto; luchar por la justicia,
la libertad, la verdad es procurar
restablecer el orden, un orden violentado
y fautor de discordia.
