Princess of Asturias Awards 10/17/2012

The Laureates of the 2012 Prince of Asturias Awards, began to arrive in the Principality on Sunday, 21st. Richard A. Lerner, Prince of Asturias Award for Technical and Scientific Research along with Sir Gregory Winter, was the first to do so.

Richard A. Lerner, Prince of Asturias Award for Technical and Scientific Research, arrived at the Reconquista Hotel at 5:35pm.
Martha C. Nussbaum, Prince of Asturias Award for Social Sciences, arrived in Oviedo some time during the morning.
Rafael Moneo, Prince of Asturias Award for the Arts, arrived in Oviedo around 1:30pm.
José Antonio Busto, President of the Spanish Federation of Food Banks, Prince of Asturias Award for Concord, got to the Principality at 8:00pm.
Amal Emam, a volunteer of the Egyptian Red Crescent, got to Oviedo at 9:30pm.
Sir Gregory Winter, Prince of Asturias Award for Technical and Scientific Research, arrived at the Reconquista Hotel around 11:00pm.
The Prince of Asturias Laureate for Communication and Humanities, Shiguru Miyamoto, arrived in Oviedo at 3:35pm.
The President of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies, Tadateru Konoé, arrived in the Principality at 9:30pm.
Peter Maurer, President of the International Committee of the Red Cross, one of the institutions representing the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement, arrived to Oviedo at 12.30pm.
Iker Casillas and Xavi Hernández, Prince of Asturias Award for Sports, arrived at the Reconquista Hotel some time on Friday.
