The Princess of Asturias Foundation

7:30pm. The 31st Princess of Asturias Awards Concert, entitled “A Certain Taste of Peace”, presided over by Their Majesties the King and Queen of Spain and with the presence of Their Royal Highnesses The Princess of Asturias and Infanta Sofía.

Organized by the Princess of Asturias Foundation in collaboration with the Cajastur Foundation, the concert will feature the Princess of Asturias Foundation Choir who will sing alongside the Principality of Asturias Symphony Orchestra (OSPA). Conducted by Martyn Brabbins, they will perform Fantasia on a Theme by Thomas Tallis and Dona nobis pacem, both by Ralph Vaughan Williams. The concert will also count on the participation of soloists Verity Wingate (soprano) and Paul Grant (baritone).

Meeting point for media at the CTIC centre (Pion): Media personnel travelling in their own vehicles will be able to park in the “Marino de Santa Eugenia” field, located in front of the CTIC-RuralTech centre, in Pion.
Buses will leave at 10:00am from this location for Arroes to cover the start of the visit and the institutional event.
