Princess of Asturias Awards 10/15/2013

Press conferences to be given by the Laureates

In addition to featuring in several cultural events throughout the week, this year’s Laureates will hold several meetings with the press, as detailed below.

 •- 4:00pm. José María Olazábal, Prince of Asturias Award for Sports.

WEDNESDAY, 23rd OCTOBER

•- 11:00am. Antonio Muñoz Molina, Prince of Asturias Award for Literature.

•- 11:45am. Miguel Carballeda, President of the Spanish Organization for the Blind (ONCE), Prince of Asturias Award for Concord.

•- 4:00pm. Michael Haneke, Prince of Asturias Award for the Arts.

THURSDAY, 24th OCTOBER

•- 10:30am. Peter Higgs, François Englert and Rolf Heuer, Director General of CERN, Prince of Asturias Award for Technical and Scientific Research.

•- 11:15am. Saskia Sassen, Prince of Asturias Award for Social Sciences.

•- 4:45pm. Peter Gruss, President of the Max Planck Society for the Advancement of Science, Prince of Asturias Award for International Cooperation.

•- 5:30pm. Annie Leibovitz, Prince of Asturias Award for Communication and Humanities.
