The Princess of Asturias Foundation

The Laureates and representatives of the 2020 Princess of Asturias Awards, the solemn presentation of which will take place on Friday 16th October in the Salón Covadonga reception room at the Reconquista Hotel in Oviedo, will begin arriving in the Principality of Asturias tomorrow, Monday 12th October. Andrea Morricone, son of the recently deceased composer Ennio Morricone, joint recipient of the Princess of Asturias Award for the Arts, will be the first to arrive.

The Hay Festival will be represented by Cristina Fuentes La Roche, Director for Latin America and International Projects, and María Sheila Cremaschi, Director for Spain.

MONDAY 12th OCTOBER

Andrea Morricone, on behalf of his father, Ennio Morricone, Princess of Asturias Laureate for the Arts, will arrive at the Reconquista Hotel at 2:10pm.

WEDNESDAY 14th OCTOBER

Emmanuel Candés, joint Princess of Asturias Laureate for Technical and Scientific Research, will arrive around 6:15pm.

THURSDAY 15th OCTOBER

The Hay Festival of Literature & Arts, Princess of Asturias Award for Communication and Humanities: Cristina Fuentes La Roche, Director for Latin America and International Projects, and María Sheila Cremaschi, Director for Spain, will arrive around 5:50pm.
Carlos Sainz Cenamor, Princess of Asturias Award for Sports, is scheduled to arrive some time during the day..
