"Chaplin with piano accompaniment"
Date and time: Friday, 12 October 2018. 12:00PM h.
Place: Arts and Crafts - La Vega Arms Factory, in Oviedo. SOLD OUT.
Screening with musical accompaniment. Admission to the events will be free of charge but requires prior registration via the Foundation website from 8th October at 12.00h.
The Film Foundation lent its support in the restoration of two of Charlie Chaplin’s most outstanding films, The Count and The Floorwalker. These films will be accompanied by live music performed by pianist Ricardo Casas. The Count. (1916) was restored by the Cineteca di Bologna at the L’Immagine Ritrovata laboratory, in collaboration with Lobster Films and Film Preservation Associates. Funding for the restoration was provided by The Film Foundation, the George Lucas Family Foundation and the Material World Charitable Foundation. The Floorwalker (1916) was restored by the Cineteca di Bologna at the L’Immagine Ritrovata laboratory, in collaboration with Lobster Films and Film Preservation Associates.
