Throughout “Awards Week”, there will be cycle of talks and round tables in tribute to the Guadalajara International Book Fair and the Hay Festival of Literature & Arts, joint 2020 Princess of Asturias Award for Communication and Humanities. “Writing as a Bridge” constitutes the first of these.
This round table featuring Alma Guillermoprieto, 2018 Princess of Asturias Laureate for Communication and Humanities, and Juan Villoro Ruiz, both of whom are writers and journalists, will focus on the role of writing as a bridge between cultures, in both the field of journalism and literature.
Fernando Rodríguez Lafuente, member of the Jury for the 2020 Princess of Asturias Award for Literature, will moderate the event.
