Prado Sunday

Date and time: Sunday, 13 October 2019. 11:00AM h.

Place: La Vega Arms Factory (Calle Marcelino Fernández, Oviedo).

Social game: “The Prado Mysteries” (11:00am, 11:30am and 12:30pm). This game consists of the search for certain “losses” suffered by some of the paintings from the Prado Museum during their transfer to the Arms Factory. Participants will step into Goya’s mind, have to seek out an alla prima painter and immerse themselves inside a painting to solve these mysteries. This social interaction game combines different disciplines such as cultural dissemination and artistic creation to create an atmosphere of leisure and family fun. The shooting gallery of the Arms Factory will host a small sociocultural game inspired by the period in which master painter Francisco de Goya created his famous black paintings. Using photomontage techniques, those attending this activity can have their photo taken “inside” a Prado Museum painting.
“Alla Prima”. Artist Itziar Sánchez will create a painting live.
Concert: “The Prado Quartet” (1:00pm). The Quiroga Quartet, 2018 National Music Award, will offer a recital to bring the morning of activities focussing on the Prado Museum to a close.
