Prince of Asturias Award for Concord 1987

The members of the Jury for the 1987 Prince of Asturias Award for Concorde, Hugo Juan Gobbi, Ambassador of Argentina, Joao Carlos Pesoa, Ambassador of Brazil, Óscar García Fernández, Ambassador of Cuba, Enrique Campos, Ambassador of Chile, Lorenzo Tous Febres-Cordero, Ambassador of Ecuador, Victor Iván Danilo, Ambassador of Guatemala, Roberto Arturo Castrillo, Ambassador of El Salvador, Humberto López Villamil, Ambassador of Honduras, Rodolfo González Guevara, Ambassador of Mexico, Berta Torrijos, Ambassador of Panama, Juan José Calle, Ambassador of Peru, Juan Casasnovas, Ambassdor of the Dominican Republic, Luis Hierro Ambassador of Uruguay, and Rigoberto Henríquez, Ambassador of Venezuela, gathered in Oviedo on the 14th and 15th of May, 1987 under the presidency of Orlando Castillo Estrada, Ambassador of Nicaragua and with Pedro Gómez Valderrama, Ambassador of Colombia acting as secretary, have decided unanimously, after long deliberation, to grant this award to Villa El Salvador, a town near Lima, in Peru.
