"Taking the Floor". "Concordants"
Date and time: Wednesday, 16 October 2019. 12:00PM h.
Place: Miguel de Cervantes junior school (Carretera de Avilés, 12, Gijón).
Admission restricted to pupils and teachers from the participating schools.
Aleksandra Dulkiewicz, Mayor of the City of Gdansk, 2019 Princess of Asturias Award for Concord, will meet with fifth and sixth year primary and first and second year secondary pupils who have participated in the proposed activity. The activity devoted to the recipient of this Award was that of making the Polish city better known through the biographies and contributions to society of its most illustrious citizens. The students had to find information on the careers of their counterparts in these same fields of work to present them to an imaginary local delegation. This event will count on the participation of the Mayor of Gijón and the performance of the Gdansk Downtown Brass band.
