Talk. "Taking the Floor". "Crossed PasaPortes"
Date and time: Thursday, 17 October 2019. 12:00PM h.
Place: Regional Parliament of the Principality of Asturias (Calle Fruela, 13, Oviedo).
Admission restricted to pupils and teachers from the participating schools and invited guests of the Principality of Asturias Parliament.
Alejandro Portes, 2019 Princess of Asturias Laureate for Social Sciences, will give a talk on migratory movements and their contribution to global capitalism, as well as their contribution to the current situation in Spain. Secondary students that participated in the “Crossed PasaPortes” project within the framework of the “Taking the Floor” educational programme will be present at the event. The activity devoted to this Laureate consisted in thinking about the group and individual actions that the students considered to be the most positive for the integration of a newcomer.
