Siddhartha Kaul, World President of SOS Children’s Villages, the NGO bestowed with the Princess of Asturias Award for Concord, will hold a conversation with Pedro Puig, president of the organization in Spain, María José González, an SOS mother, and Raquel López, an SOS Children’s Villages beneficiary, in which the background and work of the NGO around the world will be reviewed. The United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) and the Paris Agreement, Princess of Asturias Award for International Cooperation, with Patricia Espinosa, Executive Secretary of the UNFCCC and Christiana Figueres, former Executive Secretary.
Richard Kinley, Deputy Executive Secretary of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change, joint Princess of Asturias Award for International Cooperation along with the Paris Agreement, will view the selection of works that primary, secondary and pre-university pupils have created using recycled materials to contribute to the sustainability of the planet.
