Treasuring Words. A meeting with book clubs linked to public libraries.
Date and time: Monday, 15 October 2018. 07:30PM h.
Place: City of Oviedo Exhibition and Conference Centre (Calle Arturo Alvarez Buylla, Oviedo).
Accessible event: audio induction loop system and sign language. Admission by invitation for members of the participating book clubs and free admission for the public until all remaining seats are taken.
Alma Guillermoprieto will attend a meeting with members of book clubs from 26 boroughs belonging to the Principality of Asturias Public Libraries Network. They will also be joined by more than 350 people from book clubs from Galicia, Cantabria, the Basque Country, Navarre, Castile and León, Madrid and Castile-La Mancha. During the conversation, journalist, writer and deputy director of El País newspaper Juan Cruz, who will act as moderator, will review the Laureate’s career and will pass on a selection of questions previously posed by members of the book clubs.
