OTHER ACTIVITIES FOCUSSING ON SERENA WILLIAMS
Muralists María Peña Coto and Greta von Richthofen have created two works at La Vega Arms Factory that pay tribute to Serena Williams as an African American woman who has shattered numerous stereotypes in the world of professional tennis. Above and beyond her extraordinary sporting career, the aim is to highlight her commitment to various social causes.
In addition, the film King Richard will be screened at the La Vega Arms Factory today, Friday.

These activities form part of “Awards Week”, a cultural programme designed by the Foundation that includes the participation of the Princess of Asturias Laureates in a variety of activities during the days leading up to the Awards Ceremony at the Campoamor Theatre.
