A platform on which the institution’s activities will be shared from a less formal perspective, adapted to current information consumption habits.

The Princess of Asturias Foundation furthers its digital strategy with the creation of its official profile on TikTok

The Princess of Asturias Foundation has launched a new official profile on TikTok under the username @premiosprincesaasturias, which will be active during periods of greater institutional visibility, coinciding with the meetings of the Juries responsible for granting the Princess of Asturias Awards and with “Awards Week” and the Awards Ceremony.

 

Via this initiative, the Foundation joins one of the fastest growing communities on a global scale, with over 1000 million users worldwide and more than 25 million in Spain.  A platform characterized by its ability to connect with diverse audiences, accustomed to interacting with information in shorter formats and a way of approaching current events based on authenticity, creativity and the chance to interact with the content more directly.


This profile was created with the aim of offering a less formal view of the Princess of Asturias Awards, via content that will allow viewers to discover details, curiosities and lesser-known aspects of our awards. A new way of narrating what occurs around the awards through moments that usually fall outside the scope of other more traditional formats.


TikTok joins the other social networks where the Foundation is present and where it has generated an overall community of nearly 200 000 followers.
