Living in Art. Closing event of the “Taking the Floor” cultural programme for schools. Patti Smith

Location: Bernaldo de Quirós state secondary school. Mieres.
Admission: Restricted to schools participating in the “Taking the Floor” programme.
Patti Smith will meet with a group of secondary, baccalaureate and vocational training students and teachers from the schools that have participated in the “Living in Art” activity, forming part of the “Taking the Floor” cultural programme. The activity invited the students to become acquainted with the Laureate’s creative and cultural universe through her photographs and words. Emulating Patti Smith in The Book of Days, participants shared a reflection on an aspect of their daily life, accompanied by an image that served as inspiration to them.
The Laureate will tour the exhibition of the students’ work located in the school to later meet with them.
