Submission of nominations

The deadline for submitting nominations is Thursday, 6th March 2025 (up until 11:59pm Spanish time, GMT+1).

Nominations may be submitted in two different ways:

  1. By filling out this official form, which can be sent to the Foundation via either of the following means:
    • email to fpa@fpa.es.
    • postal mail to the following address: c/ Plácido Arango Arias, 2, 33004 - Oviedo, Asturias, Spain.
  2. By filling out the following form online.

The Foundation will send acknowledgement of receipt of the documents in support of the candidature to the email specified on the official form by the party submitting the nomination within 10 working days of receiving said nomination.

  • Data Controller: Princess of Asturias Foundation.
  • Purpose: to process the reception of nominations for the Princess of Asturias Awards and to process the candidatures with the merits cited by their sponsors and those submitting the nominations. The publicizing of the candidatures put forward and their sponsors via the social media, the Foundation’s own publications, website or social networks where the data controller has a presence.
  • Legitimation: the carrying out of the Foundation’s activities in compliance with the purposes set out in its Statutes and the interested party’s consent.
  • Recipients: publicizing is foreseen via the social media, the Foundation’s own publications, website or social networks where the data controller has a presence.
  • Rights: to access, rectify and delete the data, as well as other rights as indicated in the following.
