H.R.H The Prince of Asturias and members of the Foundation’s Board of Trustees hold a work meeting

The Foundation's Choir gave a concert at the end of the meeting.

H.R.H. the Prince of Asturias attended a meeting with the members of the Prince of Asturias Foundation's Board of Trustees last 17th June at the El Pardo Royal Palace in Madrid.

A detailed report of the work carried out over the years and the Foundation's financial and equity standings was given during the meeting.

At the end of the meeting, the Foundation's Choir, accompanied by pianista Oscar Camacho, gave a concert for H.R.H. Prince Phillip and the members of the Board of Trustees.

The Choir performed a polyphonic repertoire divided into two parts. The first parto f the programme included the lieders for voice and piano Des tages weihe D 763, An die sonne D 439 and Gott im ungewitter D 985 by Austrian Composer Franz Schubert. During the second part, the Choir performed an entirely Asturian repertoire with such works as Siga el panderu tocando by Antolín de la Fuente, Anxelinos by Ángel Émbil, and La nuiche by Manuel F. Avello.
