Princess of Asturias Awards 10/19/2010

The Football World Cup was in Asturias on the occasion of the Prince of Asturias Awards Presentation Ceremony

The Cup was on display at Aviles’ Town Hall on Thursday 21st October, and at the Prince Felipe Auditorium in Oviedo on Friday 22nd October.

The World Cup, the gold trophy awarded to Spain in South Africa, was in Asturias on the occasion of the Prince of Asturias Awards Presentation Ceremony, which was held at the Campoamor Theatre in Oviedo. The Spanish Team was recipient of the Prince of Asturias Award for Sports.

The trophy was on display on Thursday 21st at the Town Hall in Avilés, and could be seen between 12 noon and 5 p.m. Vicente del Bosque participated in a meeting with the public at the Sports Centre in Avilés at 6 p.m. on the same day.

The World Cup was also on display at the Prince Felipe Auditorium in Oviedo (main hall), on 22nd October from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and from 4.30 p.m. to 9 p.m.
