Douglas Massey has dedicated his career to the study of human migration, analysing its causes, consequences and the policies that regulate it. In this talk and the subsequent discussion, he will present his understanding of human beings as an inherently migratory species, whose mobility constitutes a historical and cultural constant. The event will be moderated by Marta Elvira, member of the Jury that bestowed the Award.
